I adhere to the codes and ethics of the Psychotherapy and Counselling federation of Australia.

My clinical membership requires me to receive ongoing professional supervision in relation to my clinical work. I also attend regular professional development such as training and workshops.

What is Telehealth?

Telehealth is a confidential and convenient method of accessing mental health support services in the comfort of your own home.

Our telehealth services are provided though zoom or telephone. It is an affordable alternative to office-based appointments.

You don’t need a GP referral to access this service and there are no lengthy waiting lists. This means that distance or living in a remote location is not a barrier to receiving care.

We offer flexible appointment times including evenings and weekends.

What is Counselling?

During your counselling session you are given a space to talk about any difficulties or challenges you are currently experiencing. Your therapist can provide you with tools that may help you navigate life’s challenges.

What is Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy (sometimes called talk therapy) refers to a variety of treatments that aim to help a person identify and change troubling emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Psychotherapy takes place with a licensed mental health professional.

Psychotherapy gives you a regular time to think – and talk – about the feelings you have about yourself often in relation to others.

The kinds of emotional distresses which bring people into therapy often include:

  • Persistent feelings of depression, anxiety and low mood

  • Feelings of emptiness and a sense of dissatisfaction

  • Difficulties with relationships

  • Low self-esteem and lack of confidence

  • Pre or post-natal depression

  • Struggling with life changes including emigration, or the FIFO lifestyle.

  • Issues related to sexuality and/or gender identity

  • Suffering the pain of bereavement or loss

  • Suffering the effects of sexual, physical or emotional abuse

  • Trauma

  • Victim of Domestic Violence/Narcissistic abuse

  • You may feel troubled in a way that is hard to describe
